What an eventful and inspiring spring at the Faculty of Dentistry! As part of our 150th
anniversary celebrations in May, we’ve honoured not just our legacy of excellence, but
you our alumni, donors, students, faculty members, instructors and friends who have
generously given time and gifts to support our school, our students, research, and the broader
community.
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to welcome Professor Anil Kishen on July
1st as the 13th Dean of the Faculty. We are also deeply grateful to Professor Laura Tam, who
has served with excellence and integrity as Interim Dean for the past three
years—steadfastly placing students at the heart of all she’s done.
The
future of our Faculty is bright, and I hope you enjoy exploring the stories below, diving into
our photo galleries, or engaging in one of the events noted below. There is much to celebrate
and recognize
in this, our 150th year. Thank you for being part of this vibrant, evolving and positive
community we all call U of T Dentistry.
Hoping you all have a healthy
and happy summer ahead!
Warmly, Selina Esteves Director of Advancement
